Sharni Vinson, an Australian-American performer, actress and dancer born on the 22nd of July, 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. In that small role, her acting was so good that the casting director wanted to have her play all the roles. However, she auditioned for the role, but she wasn't chosen. In the show, she portrayed the character Cassie Turner which was a troubled teen with a foster family.
