Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actor, performer and songwriter for several years. The show won her the Tony Award and received great praise for the performance. The following year, she was cast in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider acceptance for the role. As a well-known singer, she has also released a single as well as an extended show. She is an activist who is a tireless advocate to promote LGBT equality.
