Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in numerous Broadway productions before she became an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. When she was an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next notable role she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also established herself as an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and has lived there for the last ten years.
