In the year 2005, Anastasia began to surf prior to moving to Hawaii. At the time of 2006, she was six years old when she took home the surfing competition using a surfboard that was found in a trash can. When she was sixteen, Ashley was a participant in the NSSA National championship. She was named Triple Crown Rookie in 2003. Other titles were awarded, including the National Scholastic Surfing Association title as well as the Professional Surfing Tour of America. Ashley was the winner of the 2010 Pipeline Women's Pro in Hawaii. Ashley's rank on the Women's Qualification Series 2014 is 59th.
